History

Leo Marti-Schläffli from the swiss city of Breitenbach started in 1904 his watch fabric, at that time under the name Uhrenfabrik Hugi- Marti & Co., which was later renamed to Brac AG. Since 1905, they produced their own movements, and since the 1930s, they also produced plastic parts.

Because of the quartz crisis in the 1970s, the manufactury was sold and splitted, and only the part, which made the plastic parts survived until today. The watchmaking part was closed in 1982.
