One of the most produced movements in the world is the UMF Caliber 24. It was launched in 1963 and produced until the mid eighties in a number of more than 130 million movements. In the best times, 25000 movements per day left the factory. This simple and robust movement was produced on automated production lines.
The base version, caliber 24-30, could only display hours and minutes.
