Description
The AS 1187 is an old movement can be seen as the precessor of several modern movements, such as the caliber 1686.
Since it offers a directly driven center second hand and uses a large minute wheel, it had to be constructed in two layers, resulting in a large height.
With its screw balance, secured in an Incabloc-Shock protection system, with its large regulator arm and the yoke winding system on the dial side, it was a classically made movement.
