Description
The Baumgartner 34 is a pin lever movement with a diameter of 10 1/2 lignes and is almost completely identical to the old model of the Würthner 10 1/2.
The rather tiny ring balance controls a typical Roskopf-type pin lever movement, which has got a small decentral seconds indication, but hour and minute hand are driven indirectly by the mainspring barrel (which also serves as reduction gear). The click of the mainspring is located on the movement side and only consists of one single spring, which blocks the crown wheel.
On the dial side, there’s a simple but efficient yoke winding mechanism - a detail, which is a bit unusual for cheap pin lever movements.
