Description
The large Brac 192 is a remarkable pin lever movement, which offers many surprises.
At first glance, you will notice the extra large mainspring barrel, which is even constructed in an overhung position. This will guarantee a good torsional movement and also a flat size.
The second highlight of this movement is the unusually shaped ring balance, whose legs are made extra long and rolling, just like on Wyler movements, which gives a fair shock protection in an extra flat construction.
Furthermore, the Brac 192 wastefully deals with bearing and cap jewels - no wonder, since it was neccessiary to achive the advertising-prone number of 17 jewels.
Last but not least, there’s a simple but effectfully constructed yoke winding system on the dial side. Normally, this is a sign of better and more expensive movements.
To sum it up, the Brac 192 is a really interesting pin lever movement, which is far above the rest of standard pin lever movements.
