DuRoWe 50

Description

The DuRoWe 50 is one of the oldest movements of the german raw ebauche manufactury from Pforzheim. It dates from the 1940ies or even from the 1930ies.

Its construction is very classic with its gilt toned plates, which edges are angled, the non shock protected screw balance and the long regulator arm for adjusting the effective hairspring length. The gears are all in one layer. Due to that, the shape of that movement results in one long side.

The 15 deeply ruby red jewels are very beautiful and contain an oil sink.
