Description
Even simple pin lever movements can be thrilling sometimes, such as the Jäckle caliber 19/50 described here. The brand Jäckle is very long time out of buisness and hence completely unknown today. Only in the Flume Werksucher K1, there’s a note, that this movement is in the meantime offerd by Intex under their caliber number 1055. And if you compare it with the Intex 2820, you will certainly see the similarities.
The Jäckle 19/50 is a simple pin lever movement with four jewels for the non shock-protected brass balance. As escapement, a pin lever escapement is used, which regulares a conventional movement with a small decentral second indication.
The mainspring can be released easily by losing one screw - an advantage, only a rocking bar winding mechanism can offer.
