Description
The small form caliber number J 73 is a fairly simple one. It uses an anchor escapement and a nickel balance, beared in a Junghans shock protection system, but all bearings only consist of metal instead of synthetic rubies. The windingsystem is simple, too, it it just a rocking system.
The large gears are remarkable, too. They allow a simpler design.
A different version of the caliber J 73 is fully equipped with 17 jewels, thus allowing a broad range from cheap to expensive watches with the same base movement.
