Description
The last inhouse caliber by Kienzle is the Caliber 052, here in version 052/10 with direct driven center second.
Unlike its predecessors, this movement does not use a pointed balance staff, but a shock procteded balance with pivots, which runs in a Ruby-Neutro-Shock protection system. The balance bridge and the decorations of the plates are untypical for Kienzle, too.
The rest of the movement is pretty much Kienzle-standard, especially the pin lever escapement with specially shaped ruby pins.
Unfortunately, it was not successful, so its production was stopped after only two years.
