Description
On the way, the Otero 437 presents itself, you can clearly see the dark clouds of the forthcoming quartz age. Instead of allowing open views into the movement, it is almost hermetically sealed into a container, which protects it from dust and misusage.
This tiny form movement is pretty impressive, since it even has got an indirect driven center second hand. The ring balance is secured by a Rufa-Anti-Shock protection and has got a moveable hairspring stud.
On the dial side, there’s a yoke winding mechanism. The setting lever is already secured by a spring, so for releasing the crown you have to press a button, which is reachable by the only hole of the container.
