Description
The Sefea 50 is a 11 1/2 ligne manual wind movement from France, which was already available by the former manufacturer as Judex 50.
The base plate already shows, that we have a very common construction here: Directly driven center minute wheel, directly driven center second wheel, pallet lever escapement and fully jeweled bearings.
The annular balance is beared in two Incabloc shock protection systems and beats slowly with 18000 A/h and controls a conventional swiss lever movement.
The specimen shown here uses even 21 jewels, since the escapement wheel, center second wheel and third wheel are equipped with cap jewels, and on the dial side, even the lever bearing has got a cap jewel, which is not neccessiary at all, since the lever bearing runs oil-free.
