Description
The Slava Caliber 2414 is a remarkable hand winding movement from russia, since it contains two mainspring barrels, which drive the minute wheel simultaneously. Together with the large Glucydur balance a good precision can be achieved.
The rest of the movement construction is remarkable, too: The large center second wheel is directly driven and is located under a large bridge together with the anchor wheel. The rest of the gears are under a second bridge, which is located partially below the center second wheel. The date indication is realized by a quickset mechanism, where a spring is loaded between 10 and 12pm and at 12:00, the tension is unloaded with a lever, which advances the date ring one step.
This movement is also available with weekday indication and selfwindig mechanism as caliber 2427.
