Description
From the last years of cheap swiss movements originates this Sonceboz Caliber ES 95, also labeled as “Semag”. It is a 17 jewel pallet anchor movement with an Incabloc-secured balance. Its center second hand is directly driven and the minute wheel is located decentrally. Beause of this construction, the hands are indirectly driven by the mainspring and a friction clutch upon it.
Unlike later used far-east skeleton movements, this swiss movement is sufficiently stable built to last several years (you can see this on the case, too.).
