Description
This 12 3/4 line movement, which is characterized by its high-quality execution, unfortunately cannot be clearly assigned to any manufacturer.
Only the shape of the setting lever spring could be a vague indication for Sonceboz.
In this richly decorated movement, of course are all the important bearings are equipped with rubies. In the visible area, i.e. below the balance wheel, under the lever, escapement wheel and fourth wheel is a very fine perlage applied.
The gear train is built in a very classic way: The center minute wheel is directly driven by the mainspring barrel, followed by third wheel, decentralized seconds wheel at 6 o’clock with an extended axis on the dial side and finally the steel escape wheel.
The naturally not yet shockproof monometallic screw balance beats with 18000 A/h and regulates a swiss pallet lever movement.
The exact frequency can be adjusted with the help of a long regulator arm.
The movement is also perlaged on the dial side.
The yoke winding system as got a very characteristically shaped setting lever spring, but in none of the available movement catalogs, a movement with a similar setting lever spring could be found.
Unfortunately, the serial number, 99901, does not help with identification either.
