Description
This old cylinder movement without markings has got 10 jewels. Its mounting diameter is 25.3mm, which equals 11 1/2 lignes.
Its construction is characteristic for a contemporary cylinder movement, it probably dates from the early 20th century.
The gear train is not able to display a decentral second hand, as you can see here.
The cylinder wheel has got 15 teeth.
On this specimen, the minute wheel bridge cannot be unmounted, since the minute wheel has got a cannon pinion mechanism on the movement side (above the bearing ruby), which cannot be released without damage.
By pressing a sunken lever at “4”, you can switch the swinding mechanism between winding and setting the hands.
