ETA 1190

ETA 1190ETA 1190

The form movement ETA 1190 (which might also be the caliber 1090; since the marks are missing, it cannot be identified for sure) is a very unusual midsize caliber, which is pretty rare to find, probably due to its unusual size.

On its construction, this movement is pretty equal to other contemporary ETA movement, such as the ETA 1301. Because of its directly driven center second hand, it builds rather high.

There's no shock protection for the nickel screw balance, and since there are also no cap jewels, this movement contains the familiar number of fifteen jewels.

On the dial side, there's a yoke winding system, which was ususal for ETA.
