Description
The Eterna 1435 K is very small, but technically extraordinary ladies' watch movement.
In terms of construction with its indirectly driven minute hand and the very large Glucycur balance, it resebles its “sister movement” ETA 2412. The Glucydur balance could come right of a teaching book with its shape and color. It beats with contemporarily fast 21600 A/h and is beared in two KIF Ultraflex shock protections. Of course, the hairspring is mounted on a moveable stud and can be regulated by a long and sunken regulator arm. This combination guarantees best, almost chronometer-like precision.
The mainspring barrel could also be made with a large diameter due to the decentral minute gear and also allowes a better precision and large power reserve.
On the dial side, there are hardly any differences to the corresponding ETA movements: You find the minute pinion with its large coupled gear. The yoke windig mechanism adjusts the time by moving the minute wheel.
It’s interesting, that in this movement, the escapement wheel is beared in a cap jewel, while the minute train runs in metal bushings only.
Altogether the Eterna 1435 K is a great constructed ladies' watch movement which is only found in Eterna watches.
