Part of the donation - the mechanical ones
A true surprise package came in August 2023 from G.Sch. (please tell me, if I can write the full name here), full with watches of the past 100 years, lots of pocket and pendant watches to extra large modern quartz watches.
The highlight, which you can see on the photo above, are of course the models with a mechanical movement, especially two Junghans caliber 82, one as chronometer and one in the high quality standard version.
Beside this, the donation contained watches with movements from Otero, FHF, Durowe, ETA, Elgin, Unitas, PUW, Judex, AM, AS, Osco and a few others which could not yet be identified yet. The catalog works alone took a whole evening :-)
Due to the enormous current backlog, it will take about two years, until all the movements will have their own article and be linked from here, but today, they are already present in the database.
