Zaria 2009
Description
One of the early windup movements with a central seconds indication for ladies' watches was the 8 3/4 ligne caliber Zaria 2009, which at least visually reminds a lot of a swiss AS 1240.

The execution of this pallet lever movement is flawless, except for the minute wheel and the barrel, all important bearings using rubies.

The Zaria 2009 uses the typical compact gear train construction of a windup mmovement with center seconds indication, where the mainspring barrel direcly drives the center minute wheel. This wheel is beared under an own bridge.

After the minute wheel, third wheel and directly driven center seconds wheel follow, and finally the escape wheel.

As balance, a golden toned, probably Glucydur, two-leg anular balance is used, which beats slowly with 18000 A/h.
It runs in a pair of inhouse shock protection bearings.
Zaria 2009: Dial side
On the dial side, you see the conspicuous shock protection and two cap jewels for escape- and third wheel. With those two cap jewels, the important number of 17 jewels could be achived.
Besides that, the yoke winding system is notable with its characteristically shaped setting lever spring and the yoke, which engages into the clutch wheel with a screw.
