Description
This pin lever movement from Ebauches Bettlach is a real “stone grave”.
The caliber 8021-68 contains the extraordinarily high number of 23 jewels, even, although it is just a pin lever movement. The trick is, that as usually done with these movements, it contains deck jewels almost everywhere.
Since on pin lever movements have to be cheap, too, the costs have to be saved otherwise. Here, it is done on those items, which cannot be seen or advertized. There’s for example the pier construction, which is much cheaper than a solid movement, and there’s also the missing shock protection, which is responsible, that the specimen shown here is dead.
The EB 8021-68 indicates hours, minutes and seconds and the date. The date advances slowly and cannot be quick-adjusted.
