One of the most important supporters of the Archive is Lars Schröder, who not only
made many great donations, but who is, due to a number of similar interests, a
great sparrings partner, not only for watches and movements.
Donation from Lars Schröder
Lars Schröder not only spent a number of watches and a lot of steel bracelets, but
also a vintage solar powered calculator, probably one of the earliest one.

In march 2025, he donated an AM 453, a cylinder movement from the 1920s, which was not yet part
of the movement archive. It’s very interesting, that although is marked accordingly, the
gear train bridge is much different from the picture of the AM 453, you can find in the
Ebauches catalogue from 1928!
