One of the most important supporters of the Archive is Lars Schröder, who not only
made many great donations, but who is, due to a number of similar interests, a
great sparrings partner, not only for watches and movements.
Lars Schröder not only spent a number of watches and a lot of steel bracelets, but
also a vintage solar powered calculator, probably one of the earliest one.
The following movements have been added to the archive:
In a next donation in spring 2020 there was an interesting
Baumgartner 910:
A nice surprise package arrived in march 2021, with an FHF 60, a Timex
M32 and a GUB 09-20, which this time was not sold by Quelle but by their
opponent, Neckermann:
And already in july 2021, the next package came with a manual and a leather pouch for an HP-55, which contained
next to spare parts like crystals, straps, crowns and buckles a Dugena 1076 aka Helvetia 870 aka ETA 2620R:
Next, in September 2021, there were two watches/movement which were
also not yet in the archive, a PUW 361 and an ETA 853:
His next donation in october contained two interesting movements, a Brac 115 and a Sonceboz ES 54:
At the end of the year, there was a very interesting donation of a french movement:
In spring 2022, there was a very interesting donation containing an Otero 481:
A great pre-christmas donation was made in November 2022, consisting of some
movements, which will be flagged as “exclusive on 17jewels.info”, because
they are nowhere else described, and some great additions and accessories:
And also 2023, the supply of interesting movements does not stop, shortly
after new years eve, I got a surprise package, which contained a NOS
leather strap, a double hour wheel and a Junghans 667.01, the first
large series movement from Junghans, which is a great addition to the
movement archive:
A wonderful package with many interesting movements and new straps arrived in
february 2023, consisting of an NOS China 2650G, an ESA 963.126 quartz movement
from the 1970s, a Ronda 1011-21 in a Meister-Anker watch with original case, a nice
AS 1012 with screw balance, a Lorsa 8F and FE 163 form movement:
A great easter surprise came next, a beautiful Eterna 175:
After the summer break, a new donation came, consisting of two new bracelets and
a Parrenin 25 with an Antichoc S65 shock protection, a combination, which wasn’t yet
in the archive:
And it continues… In october 2023, two fantastically preserved Anker watches found their
way into the archive, both with working Förster movements, caliber 2075 and caliber 2080:
Another two watches were donated in August 2024: A Ronda 5111 with a KIF shock protection, pretty sure NOS, and a Timex M23 with also a NOS-like case. Maybe, I’ll find a dial with hands and a crystal for it:
Whenever one of the movements is added to they archive, it will
be presented with an article and a link here.
Thank you very much for supporting the movement archive!
